Vinu Jaglan — philosophy, psychology, politics, society and education
Gurgaon · Haryana · India

Ideas worth questioning, said out loud.

I am Vinu Jaglan — philosopher, psychologist, author. I think in public about caste, religion, identity and the structures we inherit without ever opening the box. Nine books, three master’s degrees, and a hundred thousand people who put up with the long videos.

Six disciplines, one question

Everything traces back to the same thing — why do we believe what we believe, and who decided that for us?

More about me
Who I am

I started with a question nobody would answer.

I grew up in Jind, Haryana, where the answer to almost every question was "because that is how it has always been done." I was not a rebellious child. I was a persistent one.

At fourteen I started a YouTube channel with no plan and no audience. At fifteen I started writing. Eight years later there are nine books, three postgraduate degrees in progress, a taxation practice and a teaching schedule — all pointed at the same question.

Nine books, one obsession

Novels, non-fiction and a self-development title — across Hindi and English.

Academics

Three degrees, read together.

Psychology at IGNOU, Philosophy at Kurukshetra, Political Science at MDU — all running at the same time, alongside a practice and a teaching schedule.

Not because I wanted three degrees, but because the question I care about refuses to sit inside one department. Psychology asks how a belief forms. Philosophy asks whether it is justified. Political science asks who it serves.

The gap between “something caused the universe” and “that something wants you to fast on Thursdays” is the entire distance.
